Introduction

NexFi is a portfolio tracker for crypto and stocks. Your privacy matters, and this policy explains exactly what data NexFi touches and what it doesn't.

This Privacy Policy explains what information NexFi accesses and how it is used.

Data Storage & Security

• All your portfolio data (transactions, holdings, custom formats) is stored locally on your device only.
• API credentials for exchanges are stored securely in Apple's Keychain with biometric/passcode protection.
• We do not operate servers that store your personal or financial data.
• Optional iCloud backups are encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account, not accessible to us.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal information on our servers.
• We do not have access to your exchange API keys or credentials.
• We do not track your portfolio value, transactions, or trading activity.
• We do not sell, share, or monetize any user data.

External Services

NexFi connects directly to third-party services to fetch data. These connections are made from your device, not through our servers:

Cryptocurrency Exchanges

When you provide API credentials, NexFi connects directly to exchanges (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, Crypto.com, OKX, etc.) to fetch your transaction history. Your credentials are stored only on your device and are sent directly to the exchange—never to us. Credentials are automatically cleared from app memory when not actively in use.

Price Data Services

To display current prices, NexFi fetches data from exchanges and market data aggregators. These requests contain only asset symbols (e.g., "BTC", "ETH"), not your personal holdings or identity.

Blockchain APIs

For wallet imports, NexFi queries public blockchain APIs using your wallet address. Wallet addresses are public by nature and do not reveal your identity.

Device Permissions

Camera Access

Used only for scanning transaction screenshots with OCR (Optical Character Recognition). Photos are processed entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. No images are uploaded or transmitted.

Photo Library Access

Used to select screenshots for OCR scanning. Selected photos are processed locally and are not transmitted anywhere.

iCloud Backup

NexFi offers optional backup to your iCloud Drive. When enabled:

• Backup files are stored in your personal iCloud account.
• Backups contain your portfolio data (transactions, user-defined account labels, watchlist), custom formats, and app settings. API credentials are never included in backups.
• Data is encrypted by Apple's iCloud security.
• Your backups are private to your iCloud account—NexFi developers cannot access them.
• You can delete backups at any time from iCloud Drive.

Advertising

The free tier of NexFi displays banner advertisements powered by Google AdMob. NexFi does not request tracking permission and all ads are served as non-personalized.

What AdMob Collects

To serve non-personalized ads, Google AdMob may collect:

• Identifier for Vendor (IDFV)
• Device information (model, OS version, screen size)
• IP address (used for general location and fraud prevention)

This data is collected by Google, not by NexFi, and is governed by Google's privacy policy. NexFi does not receive or store any of this information.

Upgrading to Pro or Premium removes all advertisements and stops all ad-related data collection.

Children's Privacy

NexFi is not intended for use by children under 17. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Data Control

• All your data is on your device—you have complete control over it.
• You can export your data at any time using the backup feature.
• You can delete all app data by using "Reset App to Defaults" in Settings or by deleting the app.
• You can revoke API credentials at any time, both in the app and on the exchange's website.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
